Chapter 1-18 Members and Friends,
Thank you to each and every member of Chapter 1-18 for your support of the chapter and it’s initiatives.
This past weekend, we had a highly successful Annual Oktoberfest celebration in conjunction with the USASOC German LNO Team on Saturday, 1 October 2022. Attendance was good and the chapter made a much needed profit this year.
ELECTIONS: Folks, this is chapter election season. If there are any chapter members willing to put their names in the hat to run for the chapter positions of: President, Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer, please come forth at this weekend’s meeting in person or send an email to the chapter leadership NLT 1 Nov 22. If there are no contested positions, the vote at the November Quarterly Meeting will be raised to maintain the current board (as supported by the 2022 Ch. 1-18 Constitution & By Laws). BLUF, if there are no contested positions, the current slate moves forward forgoing the formalities of election. The positions ratified in November will be sworn in at the January meeting.

Next major events:
SF Qualification Course BBQ - Taking place on 5 Nov 22 at 1200 on the compound. As always, members are encouraged to come out and meet the newly minted Green Berets for food, fellowship and drink. Seasoned veterans are asked to be on hand to share their stories. Mission BBQ will be served.
Issac Camacho Gun Raffle – Please continue to help spread the word. Tickets are $50.00 each or five for $200.00. We are selling tickets until the December Chapter Meeting on 12/10/22, when we will hold the drawing. Same as last year, we have a Maxim Defense PDX AR assault rifle package consisting of a pelican case with lower and three receivers (5.56mm, 7.62mm, and .300 blackout). The kit alone is a $4,500.00 value.
